Progressive Opens New Claim Center

In Riverview, Florida, Progressive has decided to open a claims office to handle all of the details of claims on auto insurance and repairs for their drivers. Because Tampa has a large number of auto insurance claims every year, roughly 45,000, Progressive thought it would be prudent to open a claims office there so that they can better assist their insureds.

Progressive knows that being part of the auto insurance business you are going to get claims from car insurance policies, but they want that process to be as easy as possible for their clients. Many people think that the worst part of an accident is the impact itself, but Progressive knows that that is usually the easiest part.

Once you have been in an accident, you have to call your car insurance company, they have to send an adjuster, then you have to get other transportation, find a repair shop, inspect the repairs, etc. It is a time consuming process that makes even the most patient person angry. However, a process that usually takes days will only take about 15 minutes at their new facility.

This is not the first of these centers that the company has opened, and those that have already taken advantage of the process have been pleasantly surprised. They opened a facility in Oldsmar, and those car insurance customers that have used it say that it truly did speed up the process. They have already serviced more than 1,200 auto insurance customers with positive results.
