Countrywide Welcomes Cardinal

Countrywide Insurance Group is pleased to welcome Steve Cardinal to their company. The Calabasas, California based auto insurance company, is excited that Cardinal will be taking over as President and COO of Countrywide Insurance Services.

Cardinal comes to Countrywide from Allstate, and will be overseeing all aspects of the insurance services company. Countrywide Insurance Services offers auto insurance, homeowner’s policies, personal umbrella, commercial insurance, renters insurance, and life insurance products – as well as business services.

Cardinal will also be heading up the company’s efforts to hire agents in branches and call centers in an expansion that they are planning on their home loan customer service. They are also planning on expanding their services that they offer to businesses. He will also be assisting with the new auto insurance program that they will be offering on a state by state introductory basis.

Before joining Countrywide, Cardinal was employed as Allstate’s regional distribution leader for the Southwestern United States. He had more than 3,000 insurance professionals under his wing, as well as 1202 financial services agents. He has more than 16 years of agency sales and management experience, and worked for MetLife before joining Allstate.
