GMAC
Insurance Rate Reduction
GMAC Insurance was
pleased to announce a drop in the auto
insurance rates for their customers in
Illinois. The auto insurance decrease will
be effective immediately, and consumers
can expect a decrease of somewhere around
13.9%. The company says that with fuel
being as expensive as it has been, they
felt that they could help their customers
by giving them a break on their auto
insurance.
The auto insurance company has also
increased the amount of their Loyalty
Discount, so that those auto insurance
policies that have GM vehicles will get an
additional 15% off of their liability
coverage. The company hopes that with
these decreases off of their customers’
auto insurance policies, that they will be
able to help them out with the money they
are spending on gas.
They say that they have their consumer’s
bottom line in mind, and they know that by
allowing their independent agents to drop
their auto insurance rates for the
company, they will enable them to get more
business as well – which, let’s face it,
is good for GM also. They are also quick
to assure everyone that with this discount
they will still be getting great GM
insurance service, and that will not
change.
The auto insurance reduction will affect
each consumer differently, and the actual
decrease you get will depend on what
coverages you currently have on your
policy. It will also be determined by
where you live, how often you drive, etc.
– the same things that go into determining
your policy in the first place. The
company says that they are aware that many
of their customers like purchasing from
independent auto insurance agents, so they
wanted to make it easier for them to do
so.
