Auto Insurance Charges Dropped

 

Our fascination with all things celebrity has to come to an end at some point. Depending on where you look you can find numerous articles for who is pregnant, who is dating who, who broke up, the list goes on and on. Every moment of their lives is put on display for us to see and comment on, as though we had a say in their lives. This fascination spills over into our own lives as we talk to others about these people like we know something personally about them, and are not just regurgitating information that we heard on some trashy magazine.
 
Take for example the excitement over the fact that Ice-T was driving without auto insurance. Why is this news? Because Ice-T falls into that category of celebrity which means that no matter what he does it is news worthy. The papers and the online blogs were all abuzz with the fact that not only was he driving without auto insurance, but he also did not have a seatbelt on at the time. Whoa! That is crazy stuff!
 
But then, it appears that it was all a misunderstanding. Ice-T did have auto insurance and there was a mix up with the motor vehicle records and that is why they thought his license was revoked. That was a close call – good thing someone was there to set it straight, or we might have had to go through the process of an entire trial to see if he was guilty of something like driving without auto insurance.
