give them an earn out of up to $2
million as part of the sale of the auto
insurance company. There are options
that could possibly change the price of
the cash out at closing – depending on
the final amount of money that the auto
insurance arm is actually worth. As far
as the earn out goes, they will pay this
with terms of 2% of gross collected
premiums on their new or renewal lines
of auto insurance.
This is a big deal for the auto
insurance industry having this kind of a
deal go through, and it means a lot
obviously for the shareholders of the
company as it will inevitably bring them
in more money than they would have seen
before. The company is excited about
growing their auto insurance portfolio
and believes that they are moving in the
right direction for growing their
business.
