Auto Insurance Companies Still Hiring?

 
Depending on who you ask, the auto insurance industry has long been a great place to try and find a job. According to job websites there are plenty of auto insurance companies in the state of Michigan that are looking for people involved in the auto insurance industry. As a matter of fact there are thousands of jobs available, but this might be changing.
 
There are several bills currently in the legislature that would significantly impact the auto insurance industry and according to some not necessarily in a good way. The bills would go about changing the auto insurance industry and they are talking about rate setting and getting the government more involved in the various aspects of the community. However, the auto insurance companies say that if this happens they are going to have to lose some of those jobs.
 
Those opposed to the auto insurance changes say that as Michigan is currently the only state that allows unlimited lifetime medical benefits to car accident victims, they are looking to change that about their auto insurance industry. They say that if they eliminate the unlimited medical benefits that they would be able to charge 15-45% less than what people are paying now.
 
However, this is all well and good unless you are one of the people involved in a car accident and you have chronic conditions from the accident.  How are you going to feel when all of that money you and your neighbors saved on car insurance isn’t around to help you out?
