Farmers
Insurance’s New Terms Come to California
Farmers Insurance Group
of Companies, including Farmers Insurance
Exchange, and Mid-Century Insurance
Company, is pleased to announce that they
are offering different options for car
insurance in California. They currently
have more than 2.1 million car insurance
customers, and as of June 1st those in
California will be able to choose how they
get their auto insurance.
Residents will have a choice as to whether
or not they want to continue with six
month terms, or if they want to go to a
full year policy instead. The car
insurance company has tested the full year
auto insurance policy in other markets and
has it has been well received.
What policyholders like about it is that
they can lock in their rates for a full
year and not worry about rate changes for
their car insurance policies. The company
says that they are always looking for ways
to offer new products for their customers,
and this is one more way they can make
their residents happy.
They say at renewal time they can either
keep what they have, or they can change to
the 12 month auto insurance policy, and
that agents will be contacting existing
customers soon to tell them about their
choices. They say that they think that
California residents will embrace it just
as others have.
