Insure U with Options

Many people do not always understand not only how auto insurance works, but what is needed to be covered. This gets even trickier if you run a small business, because with everything else you are trying to figure out, it just becomes one more thing that you just don’t understand.

However, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has been founded by state insurance regulatory officials to help small businesses figure out what kinds of insurance they need. What is beneficial to the owner is that they will help them understand what options are available to them, and what their possible risks might be in operating a business.

They have a web site, www.InsureUonline.org/smallbusiness that new business owners can go to in order to get more information on the types of insurance that they might need. The site will cover commercial auto insurance, but it will also cover worker’s compensation, group and key person life insurance, business property and liability, group health and disability, and home based business insurance as well.

They will give tips and suggestions as to what is right for you and your business, and lets you know what you can keep and what you need to upgrade. Some people think that if they have personal auto insurance, for example, that they don’t need commercial auto insurance. However, commercial has higher limits than personal auto insurance, so it is necessary to have commercial instead of personal.
