Auto Loan Owners Indicted

Matthew Hunter and John Pazamickas are both facing some serious charges related to the running of their Hunter-Paz Funding Services. The auto loan agency was located in western New York, and both men are being charged with felony grand larceny and fraud charges.

It seems that the auto loan business was not what it seemed to be. Prosecutors say that the two men sold bogus warranties out of their Orchard Park location.

The two men would give out auto loans with extended warranties. Their clients would pay for these warranties, but then the auto loan company would not put through the paperwork or pay the warranty company.

Instead, the men would pocket the money for themselves. They have been indicted for ripping off about 120 customers and have pocketed about a quarter of a million dollars in the process. They say that there are plenty of people out there with auto loans that think they have warranties but they don’t.
