Everyone knows that one
of the biggest hassles of dealing with an
auto accident is handling the auto
insurance part of the deal. Let’s say you
are hit by a kid speeding and you have
damage done to your car. First you have to
wait for the police to come to write up
the report, which can take hours alone,
then you have to start the long process of
dealing with insurance companies so that
you can get your car fixed.
You call your insurance company and they
tell you to call the insurance company
that represents the kid who hit you, and
meanwhile you are giving everyone claim
information. Then they have to call an
adjuster to come take a look at your car,
or you have to take it somewhere that they
can look at it.
Then it takes two or three days for the
adjuster to write up the report, and for
the insurance company to give the ok.
However, what if that process could go
from the two or three days that it
normally takes, and became two or three
hours instead? A motor claims solution
provider, Audatex automates that entire
process to that the dealer takes photos of
the car, sends them to the insurance
company, who then processes the claim and
the injured party can decide to accept or
not.
The dealer can tell you right then and
there if it will be done for that, and you
can say ok and the car gets worked on, or
you can contest it – either way, this part
usually takes three days, and it has just
happened while you were waiting. It will
make the painful process of getting your
car fixed not quite as painful as it was
before.
