You should really take the time to investigate both. You can go to one of those auto insurance sites that lists several of them and see what you end up with. Then go to the individual auto insurance companies that you are interested in and check for a quote.
 
Have your current auto insurance policy with you as that will tell you what you currently have. This way you can compare apples to apples because you know exactly what your current coverage is. But one thing you need to keep in mind is the level of service and the type of auto insurance company that you are going with. You could go with Joe’s Auto Insurance and save $100 a month – or you could go with Allstate and know that if you have a problem that someone will actually be there to help you.
