Car Loan Not Paid

Here is one for the books – a wealthy businessman buys a car for a prostitute, takes out a car loan at the bank, then dies before he pays off the loan. Sounds crazy right? Well it happened in Kolkata – and the prostitute had to give up the car.

Sure enough, a man bought his prostitute a car, but died before he could pay off the auto loan. Then his wife starts getting the bills for the car loan. Her knowing nothing about the car, she starts sending them back telling the bank to stop harassing her.

Eventually she complains to the police about the harassment over this car loan, and tells them that her husband never owned the car in question. The police spend the next two years trying to track down the car. The car loan was definitely in her husband’s name, but they could not find the car. Finally they do, and it is in the possession of a prostitute.

Turns out the man liked her so much that he bought her a car, and now there is a car loan to be paid. The prostitute can’t afford to pay the car loan, and obviously there is no way that the wife is going to pay it for her, so the car is confiscated and given back to the widow.

The widow now has the car and she is responsible for settling the bank dues on it, she can either get rid of the car or pay the auto loan on it. The prostitute didn’t even know he was dead, she just didn’t know why he stopped coming to see her.
