It seems that a woman
that thought she was being “watched” by
her neighbor is in a bit of trouble. The
woman, from Kilbride, told the Wicklow
District Court that she thought her
neighbor was watching her which is why she
didn’t have car insurance.
In what can only be called a bizarre case,
Margaret Donohue of Ballyflannigan said
that he thought that her neighbor was
watching her driving, and blamed this
“watching” on the fact that she did not
have car insurance. She said that the
pressure had so gotten to her that she
forgot to renew her auto insurance.
She had come before the court on two
charges of driving without auto insurance.
The first was at Maheramore on January
18th of this year, and at Glebe Wicklow on
January 26th, also of this year.
Her defense solicitor said that they were
seeking an adjournment which the judge
agreed to. They said that she was waiting
to see a consultant at Loughlinstown
Hospital. The judge gave her until May
27th and fined her €350 for the other
charge.
