Auto Dealerships Not Happy About Reform
Do you ever wonder when you leave a car
dealership whether or not you truly got
the best deal that you could have on
your car and new auto loan? Did they
ever say to you that “this was the best
that they could do” on the price of the
car, or that it was “the best possible
rate” on the auto loan? Ever wonder if
they were telling you the truth? Chances
are that they were not an that you could
have done better – but they are not
going to tell you that or they are going
to lose money on the deal. This however,
is not your problem as you really do
want the best terms for your auto loan,
you just have to know where to look.
Well a new reform bill could change all
of that – and the auto loan companies
are not happy about it. The auto dealers
want to be exempted from the bill saying
that they should be grandfathered in,
but lawmakers are not falling for it.
They want complete disclosure from the
auto loan companies so that the consumer
can really see what it is they are
purchasing. They want a new Republican
bill passed that would not make them
accountable or even have to report what
is actually going on in their
dealerships.
They say that even though they may not
be able to offer the best deal, they
should still be able to land the fish as
there is too much competition for them
out there now. Consumers feel that they
should be able to get the best deal
possible, and if the dealers can’t get
that for them, they should be able to
make up their own minds.
