The fact of the matter is that very few people can get by without a car in our nation. Our public transportation system in most places has left us with an inability to get where we are going without using a car to get there. Unless you live somewhere like New York City, you are scrambling to find the closest public transportation to you or you are driving yourself. But that is the way that it is here. This is not a big deal though, and many people have cars, unless you are in a position where your credit is not very good. Then it becomes impossible for you to get an auto loan because no one wants to take a chance on you.
 
If you are an independent contractor you will have a tougher time proving your income simply because you have no proof that you make as much as you do. Without a steady paycheck, it can be tough for you go qualify for the auto loan. When you report your income, as when you are a server, etc., you have to make sure to report enough so that you get what you need out of life. Many times people try to make it look as though they make less so that they can pay fewer taxes. But if you make less than what the auto loan dealers want to see, then you are not going to get approved for the loan.
 
There are plenty of places out there that can help you get a bad credit, or no credit auto loan, but you have to be careful who you go through. Some of these places will charge an exorbitant amount of money for you to be able to qualify and the interest rates are insane. Check out all of your options before you settle on just one.
