Fewer People Taking Out Auto Insurance
In today's economy
auto insurance companies are seeing
fewer policy renewals than ever before.
It would seem that drivers do not feel
that auto insurance is as important to
pay for as say electric or food. The
auto insurance industry has seen this
drop over the past two years but it has
really started to take its toll.
A recent survey shows that some states
are having more of a problem with
uninsured drivers than other states are.
Washington State has found that they are
ranked 10th in the country for the most
amount of residents not having auto
insurance. The auto insurance industry
says that this is a trend they were
expecting, as people are not going to
pay for auto insurance when they're
unable to pay for things that are more
important.
Other states may not have as high a rate
of those with auto insurance opting not
to carry it any longer, but across the
board they are seeing the drivers
calling and reducing the amount of
coverage that they have in order to pay
down their monthly premiums. If you are
finding that it is difficult to pay your
auto insurance, it is much better to cut
down the amount of coverage that you
have, or increase deductibles that you
are paid, then it is obviously to get
rid of your auto insurance altogether.
If you are in an accident and you don't
have car insurance, you could find that
the amount of money that you now owe to
repair your car and possibly the other
vehicle involved in the accident is much
more expensive than if you had just
continued paying your auto insurance.
Cutting expenses is a smart thing to do,
but it may be better to not pay the
cable bill then say your auto insurance
bill.
