Auto Loan Industry Suffering

The auto loan industry is having some problems. With less people taking out auto loans, and those that are getting denied - there is very little new business coming in. Then you add on to that those that took the loan years ago and are now defaulting on them.

It is truly a hard time to be in any sort of financial field, but with the Bailout many auto loan companies are asking where their fare share of it is. They say that they may not have been hit as hard as the mortgage industry, but the hits that they are taking are painful and doing much damage.

The government had agreed to help them out until the banks started going under - then they became the red headed step child of the financial industry. Any funding that was coming their way is no longer doing so as they have been told that they are going to have to wait now.

Waiting is not an option for some of them. They say that they are hemorrhaging money and without some assistance they are going to start going belly up as well. They say that it is important that people realize how serious the auto loan industry's problems have become.
