Americans Like Auto Insurance Carriers

 
A recent poll shows that most Americans like the auto insurance carrier that they currently have. What is interesting about this, is that there is a prevailing attitude that seems to say that most Americans are not pleased with who they have for their auto insurance carrier.
 
Most marketing out there is based on the fact that anyone who has auto insurance is looking to switch from the company that they have and move to another one. This is the basis of the advertising and promotions that the various auto insurance companies offer. However this recent poll shows that most people are not looking to switch, and that very few people are switching.
 
There are some consumers, of course, that are seeking new auto insurance. However, these insured people seem to be in the minority instead of the majority as we have been led to believe. According to the poll 49% of respondents said that they would recommend their auto insurance company to other people, while 31% said that they would probably recommend their auto insurance company. In addition, 50% of the respondents said that they had been with their auto insurance company for more than five years.
 
Experts say that this is clearly an indication that auto insurance companies are doing something right. They say that in the past there has been a high incidence of consumers looking to change their auto insurance companies, and it seems to have changed as of late. One can only expect that the larger auto insurance companies are pleased buy this information, whereas the smaller ones may be worried.
