Pets on Car Insurance

We love our pets. We take them with us when we run errands, go to the dog park, go to the pet store, etc. However, sometimes these errands and trips with our beloved pets can turn out not to be such a great thing. The chances of getting into a car accident with our pet in the car are a fairly good one – then what do we do?

Progressive Car Insurance, living up to their name, has the solution. They are offering pet insurance for our beloved family members, in case of an accident. Their car insurance now covers your pet up to $500 if they are hurt or dies in a car accident.

This is an amazing idea, and many pet owners are not only pleased with the policy option, but are switching to Progressive to get it. Not only does the car insurance now cover them if you have collision insurance, but there is no additional charge for it.

Some car insurance companies would realize what a positive thing they have here and how financially they could profit from it. However, Progressive is not interested in profiting from your pet specifically, they just want to give their clients good car insurance – and that means for all the members of their family.

Not only that, but if you have someone else’s pet in your car as well, they would be covered too. The auto insurance company says that they know that pets are an extension of their clients’ families, and theirs, and they want to do all they can to make them safe.
